Highways England’s strategy for asbestos management is set out in Highways England General Asbestos Management Plan (GAMP). This contract will ensure that Highways England is compliant with CAR 2012 by having a supplier:
- Complete and maintain an Area Asbestos Management Plan
- To create and Maintain Asbestos Action Plans (AAPs) for all assets over specified timescales
- Ensure management of asbestos during all activities.
