The purpose of the contract is to provide routine service and maintenance of all fire alarms, fire detection and associated systems (e.g. dry risers and self-actuating vents) on the University estate. In addition, the University is looking for a schedule of labour and equipment rates for ad hoc works that may be required during the period of this contract especially in relation to project works and refurbishment of some buildings. This contract will be divided into two lots and the University has the right to award these as two separate contracts, if required. The University will require to hold interviews with potential suppliers and we have set aside the date of 6 July 2016 please keep a note of this date as the interview dates will not be changed.
