Integrated Support, Advice, Recovery and Mentoring Service

Essex County Council (ECC) will be tendering for a Recovery Service for adults with mental health and/or substance misuse issues during 2016.

The new service will potentially incorporate recovery based support for individuals with substance misuse and/or mental health vulnerabilities and is likely to include the provision of Advice and Support, Mentoring and Volunteering Opportunities and other opportunities for social inclusion and meaningful activity outside of standard therapy and treatment.

A key purpose of the new service will be to enhance recovery from substance misuse and/or mental health problems. Commissioners are looking to move away from standard models of service user involvement and wish to commission a service which is fully co-produced and co-designed with service users (including families, carers etc).

A bidder event will be held on the 14th June 2016 at the Essex Record Office in the Spalding room (lecture theatre). If you would like to attend please firstly express an interest following the below instructions requesting that would like to be invited to participate and attend the bidder event.

Potential bidders should contact Essex County Council requesting to be invited to this tendering event by following these instructions:

1. Send an email with your organisation name in the subject title field to asking to be invited to this event email2workspace-prod+ECC+WS697611745+sr1x@ansmtp.ariba.com providing your contact name and Supplier ID/User ANID from your Ariba Registration Details.

2. If you have more than 1 registered user who you want invited to the event, provide the name(s) of each registered user in your request as it may not be possible to include additional users at a later stage.

If you are not registered in Ariba at all, go to:

(Please note: 35 % completion (i.e. mandatory fields only: organisation/user details, commodity, sales territory) is the minimum required for your Ariba cloud registration, you do not need to reach 100 % completion).

The supplier portal will be used throughout the procurement process, and all communications with Essex County Council relating to this procurement exercise must be via the supplier portal. The supplier portal has instructions on how to use the system and access the information as well as a help desk to assist Bidders.
