description

The Parliamentary Protocol Agreement (2015) requires that Highways England undertakes a review of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB). Therefore, Highways England requires a contract for provision of the service of amending, updating and improving the DMRB Volume 7, to take account of technical changes and the introduction/harmonisation of new or amended British, European and other technical standards and approvals. This will include the provision of advice, information and reports on various aspects connected with this work, including liaison with Highways England specialists and other contractors, as well as advising on the likely impact of changes to UK and EU legislation such as the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations, Construction Products Regulations and Public Procurement Directives.
