Market Engagement Event- Family Group Conference Service
The Family Group Conference [FGC] is an essential service under the Public Law Outline requirements and aims to ensure that extended family support is available to families. The Service co-ordinates and facilitates planning meetings in which the whole family come together to make a plan for a vulnerable child
Ahead of a re-procurement of its existing FGC service , the Council now wishes to consult with providers across the sector and has organised a market engagement/information event to assist in shaping its commissioning process which, in turn, will be used to inform the re-procurement of this service.
We will be seeking to engage a wide range of providers to respond to the more specific needs of Hackney and its diverse communities.
The market engagement event will take place virtually on Tuesday 16th July 2024 between 2pm and 4pm via the Google Meets Platform.Further details will be forwarded to interested parties nearer the time.
The closing date for expressions of interest is Friday 12th July 2024 5pm.
Providers will be given the opportunity to not only listen to the vision, but to contribute to the discussion on how the Council can help with:
- Proactively developing local knowledge and relationships
- Using resources to best support children, families and communities.
If you would like to participate in this event, please register your interest via the messaging function on this portal. Interested organisations are requested to state their area of expertise by completing a brief questionnaire and submitting it via the portal or by email to Claudette.Lewis@hackney.gov.uk before the closing date for expressions of interest.
