description

This is a commercial service on a temporary basis to support the Cost Planning Team to review the pricing schedules submitted for the Area 14 AD DoV, transition from existing RTMC.

Arcadis have previously assisted with this in the North West and this is a process continuing throughout the regions. Hence, this is currently the optimal means of delivering this service whilst our in-house personnel gain training/experience to undertake this internally. We are trying to maintain the target delivery date, which is already at risk due to a delay in receiving the pricing schedules from the supply chain.

Scope:

Carry out review of the submitted commercial information for Schedule, A,B and C by the M&R contractor and provide recommendation to Cost Planning on the fitness for purpose of rates to be used for the DOV agreement.

This should include, but not limited to,

  1. audit of contractors rate build up (People, Plant & Material, Equipment, charges, etc) to confirm the submitted rates are in accordance with the contract and are based on the principles of the main M&R commercial submission.
  2. review of Temporary Traffic management strategy(where applicable Schedule A mainly) used in pricing the original M&R commercial submission and how this has been used and applied to the submitted new rates.
  3. review of the fixed costs in original M&R commercial submission and how these have been adjusted(if any) to allow addition request scope to be added as part of the DoV.
  4. Knowledge transfer via appropriate training format to HE personnel on this process.
