Arden & Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit on behalf of NHS England Midlands & East (East)) would like to invite providers to attend a Market Engagement Event which will inform the market of the intentions to procure two separate Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) contracts for:
Lot 1 Tilbury Medical Centre, Tilbury; Dillip Sabnis Medical Centre and Chadwell Medical Centre, Chadwell St Mary & Lot 2 - Thurrock Health Centre, Grays.
Lot 1- This is one contract operating from 3 sites with the intention to reduce to two sites throughout the term of the contract.
It is anticipated that the raw patient list size will be circa 10596 across the three practices. These services must be GP Led and provided by GPs, nurses and other clinical professionals, the successful Provider will be expected to: •Provide primary care services which will be accessible, convenient and responsive •Deliver all services throughout core hours which total 52.50 hours •Design services around the needs of patients and carers, ensuring they are offered more choice and a greater say in their treatment •Have processes in place to evaluate and continually improve on patient satisfaction •Have processes in place to engage effectively with the local communities •Participate in Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) •Be eligible for and expected to provide all Enhanced Services, remunerated in line with the relevant Directions as specified by the commissioner on an annual basis. •Promotion of healthy living with the aim of tackling the underlying causes of ill health.
Lot 2- The raw and anticipated list size is circa 8810. These services must be GP led and provided by GPs, nurses and other clinical professionals; and the successful Provider will be expected to: •Provide primary care services which will be accessible, convenient and responsive •Deliver all services throughout core hours which total 66.00 hours •Design services around the needs of patients and carers, ensuring they are offered more choice and a greater say in their treatment •Have processes in place to evaluate and continually improve on patient satisfaction •Have processes in place to engage effectively with the local communities •Participate in Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) •Be eligible for and expected to provide all Enhanced Services, remunerated in line with the relevant Directions as specified by the commissioner on an annual basis. •Promotion of healthy living with the aim of tackling the underlying causes of ill health.
The Market Engagement Event will be held on Tuesday 18 July 2017, 12:00pm in Essex. Further information will be circulated to delegates once the registration process closes on the 17th July at 9:00am.
The opportunity will be open to the entire market, including the current providers. It is intended that the tender will be published in July 2017. As this tender is for existing services, the services must be fully operational by the service commencement date.
