description

This contract is for the delivery of a programme of work to build and maintain effective nuclear security culture globally, in support of BEIS' Global Threat Reduction Programme (GTRP). The GTRP delivers international projects to secure civil nuclear and radiological materials and expertise, and prevent their unauthorised acquisition or use.

The programme aims to promote a strong international nuclear security culture regime, focusing on certain countries/regions defined by BEIS. The supplier will take a strategic approach to increasing awareness of security culture and how to protect sensitive nuclear information and facilities, and methods to enhance the culture of relevant organisations, through delivery of training workshops and other international capacity-building activities.
