description
NHS England is looking to commission a Regional Paediatric Sexual Assault Service (East Midlands) for a period of 3 years (with the option to extend for 2 years). Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit is leading the procurement process for this service on behalf of NHS England.
The service will be built around a programme of high quality, appropriate, convenient and responsive care. In summary the key requirements of this service are:
- Provision of a comprehensive paediatric sexual assault service covering both acute and non-acute cases for children and young people up to the age of 18, including full forensic examination and appropriate care.
- Full utilisation of a multidisciplinary workforce to deliver a comprehensive combined clinical and forensic service.
- The service model provides scheduled non-acute clinics and an acute response which includes a measured and appropriate approach to managing out of hours cases.
- Robust governance arrangements underpin service delivery including strong clinical leadership, peer support and supervision along with appropriate and ongoing training.
NHS England is seeking expressions of interest from providers who may be interested in tendering for the service. Expressions of interest will be welcomed from individual organisations, partnerships or consortia.
A market engagement event will take place in Derby on the 6th July 2016 (venue to be confirmed) in order to allow providers to receive further information and network with other potential providers for this service. If you are interested in being included on the list of attendees for this market engagement event, places are strictly limited and therefore reservations are limited to no more than 2 persons per organisation.
Please register on Bravo and follow the instructions for completing the "PQQ" relating to this notice. This is not a PQQ, we are using this functionality within the Arden & GEM Bravo procurement portal to communicate with interested parties. This is purely an exercise to register your interest in this market place event. Any subsequent procurement(s) will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the relevant procurement advertisement as and when published. Please note that the deadline for registering your attendance is 12:00 on 29th June 2016. An expression of interest in this market event will not automatically entitle involvement in any future procurement exercise. Any procurement(s) conducted as a result of this event will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when it may be published.
