'The University wishes to appoint a Contractor or Contractors to supply a Core Facility Management System for use by the University of Manchester. The system will
- provide researchers at the University with an easy to use system for booking research facility instruments or services
- provide research facility managers with the ability to manage user access to book instruments or services
- provide facility managers with the ability to define the instruments and services within their facility that can be booked and under what conditions
- provide the automated calculation of charges and automated journal transfers
- provide the University with high quality and timely management information regarding research facilities'
