description

The scope of the proposed Contract includes:

The twice-yearly service of 45 stairlifts and 4 through floor vertical lifts and any resulting repair or maintenance requirements. Located at various Community Gateway Association properties the Contract will include any new installations that are required and their servicing. The Contractor is responsible for arranging these visits. At present, there are 10 re-conditioned stairlifts in storage which can potentially be re-used. A full list of CGA properties is set out in Annex 1 and Annex 2 to the Specification.

The Contractor shall be required to:

Ensure all lifts are serviced and necessary repairs completed in line with current legislation. They are completed in time, on budget with high customer satisfaction.

N.B. Whilst the numbers of lifts detailed above are an accurate reflection as at the date this specification was prepared, the number of each type of appliance may vary at any one time. If at any one time the number of appliances reduces, CGA will not accept any claims for loss of profit, income or direct/indirect costs borne by the Contractor.

Duration of the Contract

The Contract shall be for an initial period of 3 years, with an option to extend for up to a further 2 additional years (3+1+1)
