The Education Funding Agency (EFA) is an executive agency sponsored by the Department for Education. It manages over £54 billion of funding a year to support all state-provided education for 8 million children aged 3 to 16, and 1.6 million young people aged 16 to 19 and educational support to those in high need.
The EFA requires a talent management programme designed for staff in the EFA Capital division identified as those individuals who can make a difference to organisational performance in the future, by demonstrating the highest levels of potential, starting with G6 and G7 staff (Phase 1). The Programme objectives detailed in the project Initiation Document are included as part of this brief and provides the context.
