Community Ophthalmology Services on Behalf of NHS Kingston CCG

NHS Kingston Clinical Commissioning Group (the “Contracting Authority”) is offering a contract to the successful Bidder to provide a community based Ophthalmology Service.

The Consultant-Led Community Ophthalmology Service (“Service”) will provide a viable alternative to hospital outpatient ophthalmology care. The Service will offer improved quality of care and access for patients, in line with the latest London strategic Direction . Waiting times will be less than four weeks for routine care and within two weeks for urgent referrals for ophthalmology.

Recognising that this service falls within Part B of the Public Contract Regulations 2006, the Contracting Authority is designing a bespoke, single stage procurement process akin to the Open Procedure.
