Support for National Air Pollution Control Strategies 2013-2015

This contract is focused on providing technical support for development of policy on air quality in the UK. It includes further development and maintenance of modeling tools linking emissions, their spatial pattern, dispersion, impacts, and costs of control options: and application to explore the impacts of a range of policy developments and cost-effective strategies for improving future air quality. It also encompasses scrutiny and analysis of proposals from the EC and UNECE, legislation under consideration in the UK, and options to reform the Clean Air Act.
