Culture and Leisure Catering Site Concessions 2018/2019

The Council are seeking to award four concessions contracts which can include hot and cold drinks, hot and cold snacks and ice cream provision for a period until 31st May 2019.

The sites are located as follows:

• A: Duisburg Way - with restrictions
• B: West Battery Gardens (Bandstand) - with restrictions
• C: College Park
• D: Hilsea Splashpool (kiosk for use already on site)

Suppliers can bid for either one or more sites. If bidding for multiple sites, where the offer varies between the sites bid for then suppliers must clearly identify each site proposal in their responses to the quality questions on the application form.

The concession provider will be expected to:

• cover all costs associated with the running of the catering unit
• provide their own power to run any unit
• to remove any waste generated as a result of the catering unit from the site at the end of each day and provide suitable waste bins as necessary to manage waste from their sales

Please note: The Council are unable to accept stalls that sell alcohol

These contracts are deemed concessions as they generate an income to the Authority. Contracts can start from 1st July 2018 at the earliest until 31st May 2019 at the latest - maximum term 11 months.
