This is a prior information notice to alert interested parties that NHS Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group is planning to commence a procurement in the upcoming months for a Referral Management Service (RMS) for the Milton Keynes area.

The contract is expected to be for up to 5 years (3 years initial term, with a 2 year option to extend) and to commence April 2017.

Interested providers must satisfy the following criteria as a minimum in order to be considered as a provider to run this service:-

•The national NHS e-Referral Service (e-RS) as the IM&T system or alternative system that will interface to and be compliant with the NHS e-Referral Service
•A Patient Administration System (PAS) that will interface with the GP System of Choice (SystmOne) as well as the NHS e-Referral Service to facilitate direct booking
