A47 Tuddenham to Easton Dualling

Galliford Try, as the East Region Delivery Partner are delivering the A47 Tuddenham to Easton Dualling project in the county of Norfolk on behalf of Highways England. The project will complete the dual carriageway between Norwich and Dereham, supporting economic growth and easing congestion in the area.

The project has recently submitted a Development Consent Order to the Planning Inspectorate and the project is forecast to commence on site in early 2024 and will take around 2 years to complete.

Package: Materials Testing

Outline Scope of Works

The Material Testing Package consists:

To provide all necessary supervision, qualified labour, plant and materials required to undertake materials testing in accordance with British Standards and project requirements.

The materials to be tested include soil, aggregates, bitumen, asphalt, concrete, rebar, etc and the testing will be conducted on-site and of-site during the construction of the road.

We require the testing to be conducted by a UKAS accredited laboratory with experience in material testing for road works.

Programme

It is anticipated that the Material Testing works will commence in October 2023.

Galliford Try Procurement Process:

To secure work with Galliford Try, a supplier will need to pass the PAS91 onboarding process administered through Builders Profile.
