description
The Authority’s Salvage and Marine Operations team (SALMO) have a requirement to ensure that its operational personnel are suitably qualified and experienced in the operation of a range of merchant vessels.
It is the Authority’s intention to place a Framework Agreement for the provision, on a periodic basis, of Marine Simulator Training and Associated Services. This training is envisaged to involve bridge and engine room simulation, enabling training to be undertaken, as required by the Authority.
The Marine Simulator Training and Associated Services shall be located within the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (the UK).
Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.
