The Department of Energy and Climate Change (“DECC”) wishes to appoint a Supplier to undertake the first phase of a project to consider how the cost of the Iron Mains Risk Reduction Programme (“IMRRP) could be reduced by targeting investment away from areas we expect to deploy low carbon heat sources within a relevant timeframe. The first phase will involve providing DECC with a detailed understanding of how the IMRRP is currently being delivered and a GIS dataset of planned or potential replacement activity in a representative area.
