The implementation of effective technology enabled care services (TECS) in Herefordshire is a key component to preventing the escalation of client needs and in supporting 'all adults in Herefordshire to live healthy, happy and independent lives within their local communities, for as long as possible with support when they need it'. As part of the commissioning process for this new contract, Herefordshire Council is undertaking a soft market test. This gives potential providers the opportunity to express their interest in providing one or more elements of the Technology Enabled Care Services. The council will use the information to appraise options. This process does not constitute a formal tender or other competitive bidding process. The council is using the process solely to test the market to gather information and ascertain the level of interest in this particular service. There are, therefore, no formal criteria which we use to judge your responses, and it is not our intention to provide any feedback.and develop the specification for the new Technology Enabled Care service.
