description
The Buyer is the Home Office acting through Border Force.
It is a Health and Safety requirement that operatives work in a clean and safe working environment. To maintain this environment the search shelters need to be cleaned at all ports in Northern France annually. This will satisfy the French and UK Union Regulation, providing assurance that shelters are fit for purpose through a thorough industrial clean.
The search shelters at Juxtaposed locations are in use continuously 24/7, 365 days a year. Over time dirt, dust and grease build up over the interior surfaces. Whilst some shelters have ventilation, particulates from vehicle engines settle and build up on surfaces such as walls, floors and ceilings.
Therefore industrial cleaning services shall be required for the mandatory cleaning of the fabricated shelter interior by high pressure jet washing or suitable cleaning methods.
