description

This contract relates to qualitative research being undertaken to support local authorities (LAs) in managing their high needs budgets at a time of increasing financial pressures and demand for SEND services and support. The contractor will identify and examine examples of good and promising high needs budgetary practices within a sample of LAs, with a view to the department being able to update guidance for all LAs on managing budgets in the context of current pressures, and share examples of approaches and budgetary practices that some authorities have put in place recently to good effect.
