description
This bidding opportunity was for undertaking the full removal and replacement of an identified existing drainage system (and associated works) to a school in Southampton. The works included:-
- the removal of pitched fibre foul drainage pipework;
- the replacement of a pitched fibre sewer pipe, replacing in pvc-u;
- repairs to, and the new installation of, manholes;
- the excavation and disposal of contaminated ground, replacing with imported clean backfill;
- the tarmaccing of specific areas of playground, footpath and road surface;
- the removal of asbestos materials as described within the SWIP;
- the survey and flow clearance of any main drainage.
