Online Day Opportunity Support Service Pilot

The County Council wishes to commission a dedicated online service for the period 18/10/2021 - 31/03/2022. This will provide a structured online service which delivers a range of occupational, leisure and therapeutic activities to people with Learning Disabilities or Autism or both via online sessions. This service will be for people who may have ordinarily been referred to building based day services, and who may be receiving an online or building based service currently.

Following the emergence of online services during COVID-19 related lockdowns, it is the Council's intention to further analyse the delivery of online sessions, and how these may be used to support people in the future. The Council will work closely with the providers to monitor the efficacy of the service and outcomes for service users and their families. The service will also help to reduce footfall in building-based services and provide an alternative service in the event of any short-term disruption to building based services across Hampshire during the contract period. The Council will work with the selected providers to develop referral pathways, Key Performance Indicators and other measures.
