description
This is a Prior Information Notice published by NHS Arden & GEM CSU on behalf of NHS Southern Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (SDCCG).
SDCCG wishes to engage and collaborate with suitably qualified and experienced service providers over a review of options for the future provision of place-based care for people living with and affected by respiratory conditions across Southern Derbyshire.
The aim of the market engagement exercise is to:
- Support informed decision making on the potential options to help identify a preferred course of action;
- To help refine the commissioning and procurement approach and;
- To gauge interest in this opportunity going forward.
SDCCG Community Pulmonary Rehabilitation service will be tendered for with a view to awarding a new contract to commence April 2018. Dependant on the outcome of the market engagement exercise this will either be tendered for as a singular service or as part of a wider integrated place based service.
Please note that this is a market engagement exercise and not a PQQ or procurement exercise. We are using this functionality within the Bravo portal to communicate and engage with interested parties. Participating organisations are responsible for their own costs. This does not commit SDCCG to conduct any further formal competitive procurement process over and above Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Any future opportunities regarding this service will be formally advertised via a contract notice and interested parties will be required to apply. Current services will remain in place during this period in line with existing contracts and service level agreements.
Additional information: As part of this market engagement exercise SDCCG would like to hear from service providers to understand their appetite, interest and views on the feasibility of delivery on the proposed options.
