Other additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.

The successful contractor will be required to provide internal and external cleaning services for communal areas within the estate using methods and procedures approved by The British Institute of Cleaning Science.

The term of the proposed contract is 2 years (24 months) to commence 1 December 2016, with option to extend for a further period or periods of up to 3 years (36 months) subject to mutual agreement of the Buyer and the Contractor. The estimated range in value of the contract over the initial term of 2 years and potential extension period of 3 years is 500 000 GPB.
