description
The Department for Education invited proposals for an Evaluation Coordinator to lead, on behalf of the Department, the evaluation strategy for round 2 of the Children's Social Care Innovation Programme (IP) and Partners in Practice (PiPs). The Evaluation Coordinator will be responsible for setting and assuring high evaluation standards, overseeing evaluations, and bringing together data across themes to demonstrate progress towards the Innovation Programme and Partners in Practice objectives. The evaluation coordinator will support the allocation of evaluation teams to each theme and will oversee the evaluation teams and work with them to look at the policy issues and priorities associated with that theme, develop hypotheses to test, then look at past, existing, and pipeline projects to design the most appropriate evaluation. The evaluation coordinator will be required to work closely with the Department and it's delivery partner (currently the Spring Consortium, made up of Deloitte, Innovation Unit and Mutual Ventures) particularly in supporting and challenging high quality evaluation plans, analysing and drawing conclusions on programme-level questions and the dissemination of learning and good practice.
