This is not a call for competition, this is a prior information notice to inform the market of a Supplier Day in relation to a forthcoming procurement. The objective of the project is to replace the existing R69 building (located within UKRI's Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire, UK) with a new building to house the HRPD (High Resolution Powder Diffractometer) instrument on the ISIS neutron source. The new building is to be located on the footprint of the existing building and the project therefore requires the demolition of the existing building and construction of the new, during which time the facility will not be operational. The new building will be spread across 2 floors and provide space for the instrument and support facilities including staff offices. UKRI are looking toward a 2-Stage Design and Build Contract. 4. The estimated construction value is approx £3,526,700 GBP (ex VAT), subject to confirmation at the point of tender. Below is a list of the activities to be completed.
