• J.Murphy & Sons invites expressions of interest from experienced civil engineering subcontractors for inclusion on a framework of regional lots across England, supporting major infrastructure programmes.

The framework will provide call off opportunities aligned to regional delivery teams and project locations.

Other rail and infrastructure projects across England

Scope of Services:

The framework will cover the provision of topographical and surveying services, including:

Topographical & Site Surveys

Topographical surveying of sites, corridors and infrastructure assets

Detailed mapping of natural and built features, including levels, contours and surface features

Utility & Desktop Surveys

Desktop utility surveys and statutory records searches Identification and interpretation of underground services data

Rail & Infrastructure Surveys

PWAY (Permanent Way) surveys

Structure and track monitoring, including deformation and movement surveys

Survey Control

Establishment and maintenance of permanent survey control grids and benchmarks

Laser Scanning & Advanced Data Capture Terrestrial laser scanning (LiDAR)

High definition (HD) video survey capture 3D point cloud data generation and reality capture

Aerial & Remote Surveys

Manned aerial surveys, including:

LiDAR

Photogrammetry

HD video surveys

Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) / drone surveys

Monitoring & Measurement

Asset, structure and track monitoring

Installation and repeat surveys to track movement or changes over time

Data Processing & Delivery

Processing and interpretation of all survey data Production of outputs in CAD, BIM and GIS formats Delivery of drawings, models, reports and digital datasets Quality assurance and validation of survey outputs

Suitable Suppliers

This opportunity is aimed at suppliers who demonstrate:

Proven experience in topographical and infrastructure surveying, including rail environments Capability across traditional and advanced survey techniques (laser scanning, aerial surveys, digital capture)

Experience delivering surveys in live, constrained or high risk environments

Strong health, safety, environmental and quality performance

Ability to produce accurate, high quality digital survey outputs aligned to industry standards SMEs and regional surveying providers are encouraged to apply
