Anchor Institutions

WYCC values the relationship and support for collaborative working, and wants to invite applications from organisations that that are committed to working in partnership to deliver quality training which meets the Leeds City Region skills agenda and the needs and aspirations of the lowest paid workforce in the City Region.

WYCC recognises the role Anchor Institutions play in supporting growth and reducing poverty locally. Through in-work development practices they can directly deliver more inclusive growth and inspire other local organisations to act and support career progression and skills acquisition opportunities for low paid staff.

WYCC wants to invite applications from a range of organisations who will work with large Anchor Institutions across the Leeds City Region on the delivery of a range of skills and learning interventions that advance the skills and progression prospects of their lowest paid workers.
