Community Musculoskeletal Services on Behalf of NHS Hammersmith and Fulham CCG

NHS Hammersmith and Fulham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) wish to commission a community-based musculoskeletal (MSK) service.

The service will provide specialist multi-disciplinary MSK care for the registered population of Hammersmith and Fulham CCG.

The service specialties that are to be included within the Service scope are:

• MSK physiotherapy services;
• Outpatient orthopaedic services;
• Outpatient rheumatology services; and
• Chronic MSK pain management services.

The Service will triage, assess, diagnose, advise, treat and manage the adult population of NHS Hammersmith and Fulham CCG.

The CCG anticipates awarding a contract for up to 2 years and 11 months, with the option to extend for a further 2 years at the CCG’s discretion. The expected service commencement date is 1st May 2016. The total value of the contract over 3 years and 11 months is estimated at £6,000,000 - £7,000,000.

A Bidder Briefing to ensure good understanding by Bidders of the service specification and procurement documentation will be held on the evening of 25th August.

NHS Hammersmith & Fulham CCG anticipates publishing a Contract Notice to commence procurement during August 2015. Recognising that this service falls within Part B of the Public Contract Regulations 2006, the Contracting Authority is designing a bespoke, single stage procurement process akin to the Open Procedure.

The submission of an expression of interest is not a prerequisite to any subsequent procurement application.
