description
Norfolk County Council intends to establish a new framework agreement for providers of day opportunities for adults with learning difficulties. The Council is seeking to implement a new service model informed by the Learning Disabilities Strategy with new contracts. The new service model contains 3 pathways:- Promoting Wellbeing Pathway
Promoting Independence Pathway
Skills and Employment Pathway
It is likely that the procurement will be split into lots - one for each pathway and bidders will be able to apply for more than one lot. However, that decision will only be made after consultation with the market. The Council spends approximately ?14.8m per year on day opportunities for those with learning disabilities.
Norfolk County Council would like to meet with providers to discuss this opportunity and obtain feedback. The Council is holding engagement events the week commencing 7th January.
The dates are:-
Monday 7 January - South Norfolk
Tuesday 8 January - North Norfolk
Wednesday 9 January - East Norfolk
Thursday 10 January - Norwich
Friday 11 January - West Norfolk
