Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (DMBC) is seeking a suitably experienced Contractor to tender for the design and construction of a new build National Innovation Centre (NIC), utility building, drainage and external works at recently cleared railway land adjacent to A4037 Tipton Road, Dudley, DY1 4AH.

The NIC will be constructed on land owned by DMBC.This project will create the National Innovation Centre (NIC) for Very Light Rail (VLR) research. The NIC and associated external works will spur research, innovation and product design in very light rail,traditional rail, and motor vehicle technology

Additional information: This exercise is being conducted in electronic format (e-tender). Following registration, an e-mail will be sent to you advising of your user ID along with a reminder of your e-mail address and password. Details of the project are located under the All Opportunities link which is also where you can express an interest and receive the documentation. Once you have done this you must log back into the website using the details provided following registration and locate the contract document under Tenders, My Tenders on the menu. The Tender should be received no later than Friday 01-11-2019 at 12:00 and will be available for download until23:59hours on Thursday 31-10-.2019. URL: www.blackcountrybusiness.co.uk. To access documents bidders are required to register with the website. This may be done in 2 ways

1)Use the Register/Sign In button located on the Home screen, or,

  1. Find the project under the All Opportunities link and use the Express Interest button.

Companies who have previously registered with the website will be invited to input their login detail. Once an expression of interest has been accepted by the system, Users MUST log back into the system to access documents. Now they will appear under the My Tenders tab.
