description
Oxfordshire County Council's Joint Commissioning Team is advertising an opportunity to provide support to users of its Direct Payments Services. Oxfordshire County Council and the Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group require an effective, efficient and economical Direct Payment Support Service to ensure that flexible, high quality support is available for recipients of Direct Payments.
The overall aim of the Service is to give Service Users the opportunity for greater choice and control to manage Personal Health Budgets and Direct Payments, to encourage Service Users to take up Direct Payments and, where needed, to access support with the administration of Direct Payments and the purchasing of care and support.
The Direct Payment Support Service is divided into 2 separate lots and providers can bid for either or both. The lots are:
| • | Lot 1 - Direct Payments Information and Advice Service |
| • | Lot 2 - Direct Payments Account Support and Payroll Service |
The contract(s) will be for three years with an option to extend for a further two years. The indicative contract start date is 24th January 2018.
TUPE information can be provided on return to the Council of a completed Confidentiality Agreement either via the portal or to Mark Jermy at mark.jermy@oxfordshire.gov.uk
Bids must be submitted to the Council before 12 noon on Tuesday 24th October 2017 via the Council's electronic tendering portal at https://sebp.due-north.com/
