description
The evaluation will involve qualitative and quantitative research with participants, providers and JCP staff. The research will address the following questions:
| • | To what extent have the pilot interventions moved participants closer to the labour market, and how have they impacted on key outcomes such as work related activity, perceptions of health, attitudes to work and expected return to work trajectory? |
| • | What has been delivered under each pilot intervention, and to what extent has the pilot met policy intent? |
| • | What is the staff experience of delivering the pilot? |
| • | What are the operational and delivery challenges? |
| • | What is the customer experience of the pilot interventions? |
| • | What elements of the support worked best in progressing this customer group? |
| • | How could the pilot interventions be improved for any national roll-out? |
Research will be undertaken in two waves.
Wave one
Qualitative research – 24 customer interviews in each of the three pilots, plus 46 staff/provider interviews spread across the three pilots.
Quantitative research – quantitative survey with 500 customers in each of the three pilots.
