The NTU Institute of Health and Allied Professions department is seeking to appoint a Supplier to provide a service to design and deliver all Moving and Handling training requirements for students undertaking pre-registration/undergraduate health professional courses at the institute.

Due to the practice placement requirements within these programmes we need to ensure that students are fully trained for safe Moving and Handling of patients within the health and social care services where they are based. The training fulfils mandatory requirements for the University and organisations where the students will undertake placement. The successful supplier needs to be able to supply a full on-campus service to comprehensively cover the theoretical, legislative knowledge and practical skills students require to safely undertake Moving and Handling activities in a range of healthcare environments.

We are appointing a supplier external to the institute to offer specialist skills and experience in the field of Moving and Handling. The institute is a newly formed department within NTU where we have introduced new programmes for students wishing to develop careers in health, including education in the field of Nursing Associates, Ambulance Technicians, Paramedics, Adult, Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Nursing. Our education programmes are delivered across multiple sites and the supplier will undertake delivery at NTU Clifton Campus and NTU Hub at Mansfield (Vision West Nottinghamshire College Campus).

We are continuing to validate and develop new programmes and are seeking a supplier to offer quality provision of Moving and Handling training to these students.
