Contract for Asbestos Removal & Encapsulation Works at Kidderminster Town Hall

Wyre Forest District Council has identified areas of asbestos contamination within the basements at Kidderminster Town Hall. As a result of this, the areas have been closed, but this has a major impact upon M&E services and operational storage space. An asbestos contractor is required to carry out works to enable the areas to be reoccupied without the need for personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protective equipment (RPE).

The requirement is the removal of asbestos thermal insulation residues and encapsulation of walls and some ceilings and floors throughout the basement areas using hand tools, with a full environmental clean of all areas/surfaces/equipment.
