National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) Scholarships

The DfE intends to run a procurement to invite accredited providers of the reformed NPQs to enter into a separate contractual relationship with the Department. Contracts are offered for accredited providers to claim funding for scholarship payments to cover the full costs of eligible participants' NPQ courses.

Only accredited NPQ providers will be able to bid to access this funding. There will be a requirement to hold accreditation for the reformed NPQs as part of the award criteria in this procurement.

Prior to the procurement, the DfE will be engaging further with potential applicants to provide further information about the process and to input into the development of the approach. Queries from all and any interested parties can be submitted to NPQ.REFORM@education.gov.uk, and any questions/responses given will be made available to all potential bidders.
