description
Cambridgeshire County Council is arranging a number of workshops, ahead of the publication of the tender for the new Home and Community Support Contract, designed to ensure that providers possess the skills required to respond to tender questions in an effective way that meets the standard we expect from successful bidders.
The workshops will cover a number of subjects, with each of the sessions following an identical agenda. Subjects include:
- Service Specification requirements
- Selection/ Exclusion criteria
- Business continuity planning
- Health and safety
- Safeguarding
- Procurement model
The scope of these workshops will be to give providers a strong understanding of Cambridgeshire County Council's expectations around the headings listed above, in order to allow bidders to identify their strengths and weaknesses ahead of the tender process, and to address any areas for improvement.
It is imperative that any providers intending to bid for the new contract attempt to attend one of these sessions in order to ensure that they are fully prepared as an organisation ahead of submitting their bid.
The dates and venues for the workshops are as follows:
16th of February 2017 - 9am - 1pm - Cambridge Professional Development Centre, Foster Road, Cambridge, CB2 9NL
23rd of February 2017 - 9am - 1pm - Cambridge Professional Development Centre, Foster Road, Cambridge, CB2 9NL
Parking is available on site and tea and coffee will be provided.
To book a place please contact David Downey with the date of the workshop you wish to attend.

Please note: If you have already booked a place on either of the workshops please do not re-book.
