Coventry City Council, Solihull Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council wish to establish an Open Framework Agreement for Adoption Support Services that will be funded by the Adoption Support Fund. The agreement will work as a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) where providers will be able to join at any time during the contract period.
A part of the work of the Family Placement Service is providing support (including therapeutic interventions) for adoptive families. Some of this work is provided in house but much of the therapeutic work is sourced externally. The Government has recently made available £19.3m to fund this work in the form of the Adoption Support Fund.
Support paid for by the Adoption Support Fund will be identified by suitability to achieve positive outcomes for the child and family.
