description

Suffolk County Council is preparing to procure its Health Visiting, School Nursing and Family Nurse Partnership services in the Waveney area.

The Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) is a voluntary home visiting programme for first time young mums, aged 19 years or under. The FNP programme aims to enable young mums to have a healthy pregnancy, improve their child's health and development and plan their own futures and achieve their aspirations.

The Health Visiting and School Nursing Services will ensure that all children and young people receive the full 0-19 Healthy Child programme offer, including universal access and early identification of additional and/or complex needs, which improve the health and well-being outcomes for the children and young people in Waveney. It is also important that these services work in an integrated manner with all service providers for children, young people and families to support seamless service provision.

The provider will deliver high quality services which improve the experience of all service users whilst identifying those families in need of additional support or who are at risk of poor health outcomes.

We would like to share with you our vision for the future of healthy child services and receive your views and comments on the market's capacity and different approaches to delivering this model and exploring the integration with wider health and well-being services. We therefore invite all interested parties to a Market Engagement Stakeholder Event to be held on:

Wednesday, 11.5.2016, 13:00 to 16:00.

Venue:

Endeavour House, 8 Russell Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP1 2BX.

To book places at the event and for any enquiries please email:

Please note places are limited and therefore will be allocated on a first come first served basis in response to this notice.
