1360 ITT for the Provision of Student Accommodation at De Montfort University, Leicester

De Montfort University, Leicester, is seeking to appoint Providers now & in the future to provide accommodation for university students by entering into Nomination Agreements on an annual basis with a number of Providers. Successful bidders will enter into a contract for an initial period of 5 years (with a review, and possible break, at the end of year 3) with an option (in the sole discretion of the university) to extend the period for additional years. The Term will, in any event, not be longer than 10 years.

The university intends to enter into Nomination Agreements with selected Providers which will enable the university to reserve rooms for occupation by students with effect from 1st September 2021 (and annually thereafter), with flexibility for the university to choose the number of rooms to be reserved in each nominated premises which may vary from year to year. Nomination Agreements will commence in 2020 enabling rooms to be reserved from December 2020 in readiness for occupation during the academic year commencing September 2021.

New providers can apply to join the list of approved accommodation providers at a later date if they are deemed to have capacity and are approved by the university.
