The Framework is for delivery of Passenger Transport Services; these will be for a range of client groups including pupils (to mainstream and special educational needs establishments), social service users, individuals travelling to health appointments, and members of the public facing social isolation. The framework will be divided into four (4) lots, based on vehicle size; small vehicles, minibuses, larger buses/coaches and adhoc and short notice journeys. The estimated value of work being tendered through the framework will average up to£20m per year, although exact figures will vary depending on future budgets, integration projects, and changes in demand.

The Framework will commence on 1st July 2016 and continue for an initial period of two (2) years. The Authority may extend this agreement beyond the initial term by a further two, one year extensions up to an aggregate total of four (4) years.

It is estimated that this Framework value will be approximately £80,000,000 over the four (4) years period.

There are no minimum or maximum number of providers on this Framework.
