Leicester City Council wishes to appoint a fully qualified and competent training service provider to deliver LGV training courses around CPC ? Driver Certificate of Professional Competence. Driver CPC has been developed as a requirement of the EU Directive 2003/59, which is designed to improve the knowledge and skills of professional LGV and PCV drivers throughout their working life. We are looking for approved trainers to deliver the training in Leicester. The immediate training requirement is for our operatives based in the Highways team. However it should be noted that these training courses will be made available to all other areas of the Council, if required.
