description
The project will review the existing FSC assessment toolkit for its relevance and fitness for purpose in today's context, identifying any gaps or fundamental amendments required. An updated toolkit will then be piloted with selected CAs to gauge if it can be successfully applied within a regulatory setting. This should enable us to deliver an improved toolkit which will provide a valid and reliable measure of FSC in an organisation in order to inform official controls undertaken by competent authorities. It should provide a systemic focus on the culture of food businesses and help to provide a clearer vision of what a good FSC in a business looks like.
