description

The Bristol and South Gloucestershire Children and Young People (CYP) Service was previously

delivered by the domestic abuse charity 'Survive' which was based in South Gloucestershire.

Julian House acquired Survive in 2018 and has been delivering this vital service from offices

based in Montpelier, ever since. The team inherited some grant funding from Children in Need

that provided some capacity for support for CYP in the Bristol City region. Julian House have

approached us for funding after their Children in Need funding ended and was not extended.

They have been taking referrals from services in Bristol and now have a number of children

they are working with as well a waiting list. Due to our current commissioning time line, we

cannot fully commission them at the moment but we could look at providing some funding

until the end of March 2022. Then the CYP element would be included in the wider

commissioning process.
