Notice summary: Fit out of AB1, Huntly Street, Aberdeen. The works comprise the reconfiguration and installation of flooring and ceiling finishes, installation of partitions, creation of reception area, installation of coffee preparation/breakout areas and adaptation of existing services and extension of same.

Description: The project comprises the fit out of AB1, Huntly Street, Aberdeen. The works comprise the reconfiguration and installation of flooring and ceiling finishes, installation of partitions, creation of reception area, installation of coffee preparation/breakout areas and adaptation of existing services and extension of same as defined within the drawing and specification documents.

The Works are being carried out in two Sections to allow progression of the proposed Tenants I.T. installation.

The Sections are defined as:

Section 1: Comms Room

Section 2: All Other Works

The Contractor shall be fully responsible for the design, construction and co-ordination of the whole of the works.

The Contractor is to note that a Tender Addendum will be released to the Preferred Contractor two weeks after main tender return which will include final design information and any other documents as required in order to complete the Employer’s Requirements. This information will be released to the Preferred Contractor only and will form the second stage of the tender process. The final contract sum shall be based on the final design information forming the Employer’s Requirements.

Each attachment must be no larger than 5MB in size. The attachments will be the ITT (including the specification) DECC T&Cs and any other documents you wish to be uploaded.

Any late submissions will not be considered. DECC reserves the right to halt the procurement process and to not award a contract. DECC will not be held liable for recovery of costs from unsuccessful bids if a contract is not awarded. All costs will be borne by the bidding organisations. If a contract is created it will be upon DECC Standard Terms and Conditions, which are available on Contracts Finder with this notice. Completed tender submission must be returned by post to DECC, address given at the top of this advertisement, by 14th August 2015. We require one hard copy (one of which must be signed). Electronic versions of your bids are to be sent AFTER the deadline to Ray Flanagan (raymond.flanagan@decc.gsi.gov.uk). Interviews, if deemed necessary, will be held in the week commencing 24th July 2015 (suppliers will be notified of this in the week commencing 17th July 2015). If successful and upon contract signature, the supplier is expected to attend a kick-off meeting taking place w/c 10th August 2015. Project completion is required by 23rd October 2015.
