Local Voluntary and Community Sector Infrastructure Support in Cambridgeshire

Cambridgeshire County Council is offering a grant agreement for up to three years for an innovative Provider(s) to deliver infrastructure services to the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) and to facilitate VCS representation. This representation will ensure the ?voice? of the sector is heard and will mean the VCS can continue to be a critical friend of the Council. The Council would particularly welcome a progressive partnership or consortium of providers with a clearly identified lead partner and a group of delivery partners. This approach will help to maximise resources, facilitate efficiencies through taking advantage of economies of scale, help to reduce duplication, and provide a complementary and collaborative offer through a network of organisations.

This agreement is specifically for infrastructure services, to provide services, support and advice to charities, community groups, social enterprises and Town and Parish Councils. The County Council is keen to see fresh thinking about how best to strengthen, support, challenge, inspire and drive innovation within Cambridgeshire?s VCS to produce lasting and sustained benefits to Cambridgeshire?s communities.
