description

Management Consultancy Framework (RM3745) Phase 2 / Lot 7 Infrastructure (Energy and Utilities)

The overall objectives is to ensure that the DPC schemes are completed at best value for Customers taking into account the costs of planning, design, construction and project management recognising the scale and inherent risk of implementation of the schemes. Risk allocation and risk management are critical value issues within the commercial strategy and incentive structure

The Supplier will be required to work collaboratively with various organisations engaged in the financing, implementation and regulation of DPC Schemes and report effectively on the components which comprise the benefits, costs, risk and schedule which in combination will impact the cost value objectives.

The above objectives will require the Supplier to critically analyse and report on the scheme as a whole and with particular focus on Engineering and Project Management, Planning and Land Acquisition.

Hawester Aqueduct Replacement Programme (HARP)

The most advanced scheme and the first scheme Ofwat are expecting the Supplier to work on, is United Utilities HARP Project.

The aim of the HARP Project is to replace six discrete sections of conduit that form roughly half of the length of the Haweswater Aqueduct.
