description

A suitably qualified and experienced Contractor is required to support the In-house Team by providing a drainage and civils service in and outside of normal working hours.

Services include the following:

•Clearing drainage and refuse chute blockages.

•CCTV drainage surveys.

•Rectification work on drains and sewers.

•Associated work, such as slabbing and tarmacking following rectification work.

Working out of hours to provide an emergency service.

The contract shall be for three years, with the option to extend annually for a further 24 months, subject to the satisfactory performance.

The projected budget for this work over the course of the contract is £160k per annum. Nevertheless, the Client does not guarantee to place any work orders on any resulting contract.

The Contractor will have at least £5 million Public Liability Insurance in place for the duration of the Contract.

The Contractor will be registered on Constructionline and have a Contract Notation of at least £160k in an appropriate category for the duration of the Contract.

The Contractor shall ensure that staff employed in the execution of the works are registered cardholders under the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) or qualified under an equivalent recognised qualification scheme.

The Contractor will hold a relevant Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) certificate which includes Construction Contractor, Principal Contractor, CDMC, Designer, Group and NonConstruction as part of the SSIP audit for the duration of the Contract.

The Contractor will not use Sub-Contractors in relation to this requirement.
